Annual Meeting |
| The Annual Meeting, 2011, will take place at the main house in Knox Farm State Park at 6:00pm. New York State Commissioner of Parks, Rose H. Harvey, will speak. A board of directors for the Friends of Knox Farm State Park, Inc. will be elected. |
November 10 |
Directors Board Meeting |
| The meeting took place at East Aurora Town Hall Board Room. The board discussed future plans for the buildings at the park, online fundraising, online shopping, new members, recent conferences attended by the directors, a volunteer coordinator position, a park infrastructure rehabilitation donation from the Friends, a proposal for park use by an outside entity and a partnership between town organizations. |
December 9 |
Directors Board Meeting |
| There were two presentations. One presentation was made by Bryan Strzelec who will be approaching state officials about introducing sustainable farming on 80 to 100 acres at the park and starting a farm selling directly to consumers. A second presentation was given by Timberfish Technologies. The TimberFish technology is a comprehensive environmental biotechnology that uses highly diversified populations of microbes and invertebrates |

| Ten members of the board met with the Superintendents of the Orchard Park and East Aurora school districts, Matthew McGarrity and Brian Russ to discuss educational ideas relating to the park. |
