History of Knox Farm State Park
The Former Knox Estate Becomes a State Park
The 633 acres of Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora comprised the former property of the Knox family known as the Ess Kay Farm. The Knox family wanted the farm to forever remain a green space. In July of 2000, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation acquired the land to form the present-day park.
